Menu Planning {9/12-18/11}

Remember when I use to post my Menu Plan every Monday?
Well, it's been a w h i l e .
Honestly, meals have been really scattered due to so many plans at night and I've been slacking on the menu plans! However, I was convinced once again why it's so important to plan out your menus for the week {or even month, yeah that's right}.

My friend over at Desiring Virtue {amazing lady} just started a Menu Plan Mayhem!. She explains how menu planning keeps you accountable. She says, "Menu planning is one of those really important and really helpful things you can do in order to keep your grocery budget in line as well as keep your sanity around 4pm when decisions need to be made about dinner. Breakfast- Oatmeal w/ fruit, Granola Cereal, Homemade Wheat Waffles w/ Strawberrie.

Lunch- Turkey/lettuce/cheese/spicy mustard sandwiches, PB&J's, Banana/PB and Honey

Monday- Chicken Caesar Salad
Tuesday- One Dish Chicken w/ Veggies {potatoes & carrots} Wheat Rolls.
Wednesday- Pepperoni Pizza Bake w/ Salad & Garlic Bread
Thursday- Chili @ Birthday Party.
Friday- Date Night {hubby & I eat out :)} Kids eat: turkey hot dogs & mac-n-cheese.
Saturday- Leftovers {prepare for Sunday meal}.
Sunday- Roast w/ Veggies, wheat rolls and special dessert. {photo via}

*Two of these meals are newbies so I hope to take pics and share next week, if they turn out. What's your menu looking like this week?

  1. Mmm - this sounds good! I'm craving a nice fall pot roast, but I'm trying to be good and make meals using leftovers this week. The weather messed up a lot of plans, so I have all kinds of potluck treats left over.
