Are you this 'green'?

I was blog hopping today and ran into Cottage on the Hill who posted this video.

Watch this video.... seriously? This is crazy! I don't think I'll ever go this green but, I love how simply, clean and organized her home looks! What are you thoughts about this video? Are you this green?

I can definitely see how that lifestyle would start to save you money…I’m inspired.

  3. I do agree that it could save you a ton! Just wondering... do they use toilet paper?

  4. Hmmm, we reduce, re-use and recycle, save water and hydro, & compost, but I think in comparison to that family, we're still a pretty pale green.

  5. Wow. I'd like to learn more. I don't know how they do it honestly. I'd have to read more. Interesting though - thanks for sharing! I had no idea that was even possible!!

  8. Tanya, kudos to you... I'm working on reduce, re-use and recycle but, still not doing the average! I really want to get a game plan to work at this though in order to save $!

  9. She brings her glasses to the store and has them fill it with meat and stuff? Doesn't the glass make it weigh more? Do they think she's crazy when she asks to put it in the glass? lol. I'm sure if she shops at Whole Foods they wouldn't but a regular grocery store they would lol!

It is encouraging though! I do know that whole foods sell those glass milk jars but last I seen them they were RAW milk. Not sure if that changed.

  10. I've really taken an interest in self sustainability this last year. Our family is making a few small strides. Hoping to keep it up! This is an inspiration!

  11. I'm not that green but that video sure is inspiring! I use my own grocery bags most of the time but get plastic at Walmart to use when cleaning out the litter boxes. I wonder if there is a better solution than that... I think next on my green list is getting hold of the mesh bags for produce. I hate how many small plastic bags we go through!

    Baby steps, not perfection! ;)
